Enhancing members communications aka BlogSpot

The March 2016 Committee Meeting agreed that the web-site should be expanded to allow additional communications between members to supplement the RAFOS Facebook pages. Any such inputs from members should be routed to me for inputting onto the web-site. To this end I have opened, for starters, a Comms header under which are News and BlogSpot tabs for news, Information, comments, requests, etc, of relevance to the activities of the Society and its members.

I have started an entry, somewhat rambling, with the intention of adding further notes as and when along with inputs from members. Please send inputs to ken.earnshaw@btinternet.com

    Hi Ken

The Blog spot is a good innovation – might it be possible to set up separate Blogs for, say, ISLAY MIST, and Chew Valley? That way those leading the expeds could Blog on progress.

Would it also be possible to set up some form of message board? Again the AOS use that quite extensively to trawl for exped members and update folk on goings on.

All in all though – good progress; well done
